World Premiere Preview (March 16-18, 2007)

We rolled a four last weekend, and cut exactly that number. This week we bring Sean Benjamin back into the fold, putting the Too Much Light ensemble at our full capacity of eight performers.

However: we only cut four plays.

In economics, when supply outstrips demand the prices go down. In TML, when supply outstrips demand it means that the members of the ensemble performing that week really need to bring their "A" material if they expect to get something new in the show, because there's only so much room to go around. (The prices, however, stay the same. Score one for socialism.)

Eight Neo-Futurists--Sharon, John, Kristie, Mary, Steve, Bilal, Sean, and Jay--with only four slots to divide among them. So you know these premieres are going to be good. And your font choices don't mean jack in the Thunderdome.

The four survivors of Tuesday's melee, making their debut in the show this week:
  • From One Sinvergüenza To Another (Steve Mosqueda)
  • Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch (Sharon Greene)
  • Tastes Like Chicken (Sean Benjamin)
  • One-Minute Love Stories w/Obvious Outcomes Present Love Story #1: Hammer & Flower (Sean Benjamin)
Those that didn't make the cut? Some won't be back, sure...but others are crying tearfully into the cameras and swearing that Simon ain't gonna take away their dreams, y'hear? Simon ain't gonna take away their dreams.
