When I watch a movie with friends, and a character is introduced that we are assuming will die, we say "Dead."
Take for instance:
Amy: Hi Mr. Jones!
Mr. Jones: (maniacally) Oh, hello Amy.
Me: (about Amy) Dead.
I think the long hair guy talking to Al Pacino dies.
