World Premiere Preview January 20, 21, 22 2012: Santorum

So the content here is bluer (sexier, graphic-y-er) than usual for the World Premiere Preview, but it just fits so well with what we have coming up in the menu this week.

A little internet link sharing for you: Dan Savage is a favorite writer among many of the neos, and one of his finest contributions to the English language (he didn't invent the term personally, but he helped perpetuate it) happens to touch on a couple of plays we're going to premiere this Friday. The word is "santorum."

That's what we like to call timely. Remember: "living newspaper" is in our mission statement.

We (Leah, Kurt, Caitlin, Jay, Tif, Trevor, Brenda, Megan) rolled a nine, we cut nine, we wrote a TON and we chose these 9 plays for you, and for ourselves.

An Incidental Conversation Between Brenda and Megan
- (Brenda Arellano)
First Person GOP Shooter - (Kurt Chiang)
naked truths from the Whole Foods salad bar - (Megan Mercier)
Neo-oonies - (Leah Urzendowski)
Well That's The Pope Calling The Kettle Black - (Jay Torrence)
defeat the cold. warm the globe - (Trevor Dawkins)
Oh No - (Caitlin Stainken)
Lay It On the Old Girl - (Caitlin Stainken)
In the time it takes to gut a pomegranate - (Tif Harrison)

Seriously, leave the kids at home this week. Don't even get a babysitter. They're better off, trust us.

Oh, and don't forget. . . Double Salami.
