Still going strong with guest-writers for the blog. Last week was play-writer Philip Dawkins, the week before that was Barrel of Monkey and YA writer Rachel Wilson, and this week you've got performer/writer/illustrator/neo-expressionist Kirsten Riiber (i have no idea if she would describe herself that way, especially the last one).
I met Kirsten through a neofuturist class I was teaching, but she has known neo-Trevor Dawkins from their past three existences as a pair of fighter-pilots, a school of fish, and a thought wave.
One day I found out that she was also an incredibly unique drawer/comic-ist when she left a doodle lying around on the internet, and I said, "You should draw something for my prime-time show coming up," which is what you see to the right.
We rolled a nine, and we put in nine new plays. The writer-performers are Leah, Trevor, Kurt, Caitlin, Bilal, Tif, and Lisa Buscani (coming back for some action from alumnus land).
And here's Kirsten. . .

Kirsten will be performing in Bilal Dardai's A Determination (Mixed Media) as part of LiveWire's VisionFest 4. She is a member of Alluvium Group and will participate in its annual Mix Tape Project June 29/30 & July 6/7. The rest of her illustrations can be viewed on her facebook page. Don't be shy and request her friendship. It will make her day.
